A beautiful, well equipped ground-floor apartment, in a quiet secure residential development, our goal is to make the apartment a home from home, so you can relax and enjoy your break in comfort.
Ideal for couples, groups or families who want easy access to the city, plenty of space (100 sq meters) in a peaceful environment. 10 – 15 minutes walk from the east end of Princes Street, with private parking.

A short walk to Edinburgh's many attractions, some things to mention are Holyrood Palace, The Parliament, The Castle, The Playhouse Theatre, Botanic Gardens and Princes Street.

The apartment boasts a Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star Award.

Large, bright, clean, well equipped kitchen, there is a dish washer, washing machine/tumble drier, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker. You will find a good selection of pots and pans, casserole dishes and oven trays. We supply tea, coffee, sugar, bin bags, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, washing up powder, freezer bags.

Separate dining area, with a table and six chairs.

Peaceful lounge, 2 new leather three seater sofas, 3 chairs, TV, Sky, DVD, WIFI, iPod docking station.

Master bedroom, king-size bed, en suite with large shower unit.

Two further bedrooms, both with twin single beds.

Bathroom, with bath and shower.

All bed linen and towels provided. 

2 Kids cot, 2 high-chairs, pram, plastic bowls, plates tumblers etc available if required.

Gas central heating provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere all year round, along with instant and constant hot water.

Wheelchair access, stool for shower available, hand rail above the bath and one in the shower.  Category 3 access award for guests with mobility issues from the Scottish Tourist Board. Assistance dogs welcome, there is a park to walk a dog one minute away. I am happy to provide a water bowl. There is a magnifying glass. I have details of an excellent mobility shop that hires out scooters, chairs etc as and when required.

The Hopetoun Street apartment, is on the ground floor, with no internal steps it has proved ideal for lots of guests with wide ranging mobility issues. 

There is an access statement available for the apartment and I am very happy to talk through individual circumstances and concerns.

There is a shower stool and a rail available for the en suite, and there is a handle on the wall by the bath. 

As a mother of three busy kids, I enjoy my role as taxi driver, cook and cleaner. Being a Mum helps me welcome families, I have all the kit and know what Mum needs on holiday. Renting out our holiday apartment allows me to meet lots of interesting people from around the world. It also ensures that I continue to see Edinburgh through fresh eyes, and appreciate what a wonderful City I live in.
